I wanted to bring her a chalice
or maybe a cup of love or cool water
I wanted to sit beside her as she rested after the long day
I wanted to adjurecommend admonish
saying don’t do that of course wonderful try
I wanted to help her grow old
I wanted to say last words the words
famousfor final enlightenment
I wanted to say them now
in case I am in calm sleep when the last sleep strikes or aged into disorder
I wanted to bring her a cup of cool water
I wanted to explain tiredness is expected
it is even appropriateat the end of the day
Each time I read the above poem, i immediatly think of the yellow thread in my book "Threads For Life"
When you really understand that you will not always be there for them. A day will come, when they are in life without you. You ask yourself: how could I make them more resilient to life?
May the Threads for life and in particular the yellow thread, be your guide to pass this knowledge and be a blessing for others.
