A painting I bought in Amman.

As I was descending the stairs in the old city of Amman, I stumbled upon the Panorama Art Gallery.

Upon entering and admiring the artwork, I noticed an elderly woman standing in front of a vibrant painting filled with color, light, and magic.

I found myself captivated by both the woman and the painting.

She turned to me and asked, “Did this piece of art speak to you? I’m sure it did. What did it say?”

In moments like these, I often feel that humans are drawn to stories in order to understand their own. I smiled and replied:

“I see a reflection of hope, light, laughter, and love in the eyes of a beautiful woman.” At that moment, the gallery felt empty except for her; what a remarkable presence! It was as if time, which usually rushes by, paused around her, letting people appreciate her unique, simple, yet majestic aura.

She smiled back and said, “If you can afford it, buy it! The artist named it HAPPINESS, and I stop by to see it regularly. We all seek happiness, don’t we?”

And I did!

I brought Happiness home with me!

May the Pink Thread inspire us all to foster happiness and hope in every interaction we have.
